The Inside Track hosted by Jamie Slone will feature the Mustang Challenge for 2009. Slone was a driver in the inaugural year of the series and finished second in the championship. He made the podium 5 times with the highlight being a win at Mid Ohio that included a flag to flag run.
Slone says, "Obviously the pole at Mid Ohio and flag to flag win was the highlight of the year but I have to say to run bumper to bumper with Andrew Caddell and Terry Borcheller at Lime Rock was a great feeling too. In spec car racing I learned that to win the race you must have a car that is really good and you can't make any mistakes."
Slone also was featured in the popular show, "Why We Race - The Mustang Challenge" that was aired on Discovery Channels HD Theater in early 2009 and will air again in second quarter. Having raced in the series and knowing the guys in the paddock Slone will be able to get behind the scenes and give the viewer the Inside Track on the Mustang Challenge.
